Course Overview

Aims and Objectives: UMLEAD is developed as a Leadership Assessment and Development program which involves a stringent triangulation methodology to ascertain the psychological, behavioural and personal awareness/receptiveness of individuals’ leadership potential and/or professional progression. The Course acts as a:

  • recruitment and selection process for new hires and promotions of officers
  • professional development program to enhance the leadership skills of existing senior officers
  • risk assessment tool for organizations in assessing and developing their human capital in facing global economic competitiveness as well as global security threats and safety requirements
Individual Objectives:
  • Improvement of awareness of personal strength and weaknesses
  • Consideration and monitoring of personal areas of development
  • Facilitates more effective leadership functions and interpersonal styles for enhanced personal performance and collaboration
Contents (This course uses external Psychologist who must be pre-booked (1 month notice minimum). A typical UMLEAD program format is as follows:
  • Day 1 Psychometric Assessment & BRM refresher
  • Day 2 Simulation Exercises (Simulator Familiarization may be required)
Day 3 Psychological Appraisal & Feedback The deliverables include:
  • Psychological administration and materials
  • Behavioural analysis
  • Individual 1-1 feedback and coaching
  • Psychological Report
