Course Overview
TRAINEE FITTER COURSE is aimed to provide minimum level of knowledge and skill training for the personnel who are employed as Trainee Fitter in Uniteam Marine. To understand potential hazards in the operations that a training fitter has to perform on board a vessel and to follow correct safe working practices at all-time onboard ships. To understand the working principles of welding, brazing and cutting procedures and to be able to perform welding, brazing and cutting processes correctly onboard ships. To understand the working principle of lathe operation and turning processes and to be able to perform turning processes correctly onboard ships. To understand bench works and correct use of hand tools and to be able to perform basic workshop operations correctly onboard ships.
