Course Overview
The aim is to give mariners experience in handling large 13K Container ships under various conditions and to make a more effective contribution to the bridge team during ship maneuvering in normal and emergency situations. To reduce accidents and incidents due to 13K Container ship handling errors. UT has several sizes of container, and bulk carrier ship models and different locations including: Singapore Straights, Felixstowe, Tokyo Bay, Dover Strait (West) etc. (Clients may discuss other ship configurations. Please contact Section Lead Nautical Dept.) Upon completion of this course, participants shall be capable of: Describing basic principles of ship handling technique
