Course Overview

Ever wondered what it would really be like? Abandoning a ship or installation at night time, under howling winds, smoke, thunder, lightning, rain, and raging seas? Delegates will obtain underpinning knowledge for sea survival in a one hour theoretical session, followed by high adrenaline practical session, involving stepping off (4metres), HELP position, huddle, circle, and individual and group swim. Delegates will be asked to right a capsized life raft, climb on-board, and undertake vital and secondary actions. Delegates will then be rescued in a simulated helicopter exercise using rescue strop. All of this in the most realistic survival theatre in South East Asia that would make Universal Studios looks pale in comparison! Let us create the perfect (safe) storm for you! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqLnl4zcA38 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EThcOuybIl4
